The Huntley family at the bottom, this view is from the parking area. Not bad, huh?
Here is papa and son with the view from the little village at the foot of the mountain. I (Adam) was able to put John in his little carrier and still be able to fit my winter jacket around both of us, so John was quite toasty the entire hike, he actually slept almost the whole time. In the picture John is the little red-capped head sticking out of my coat. If you click on the picture you can have a closer view.

Hike in the Woods with Anne
Ruth's very good friend for about 23 years, Anne, came and visited us last week. One of our friends graciously let us borrow their car and we rode up to the local national park to partially climb up Mont Granier. Here are the girls at our destination, as you can see it was just like Minnesota at the top. Anne left to go back to Minnesota this morning, but we will miss her company a ton.
Here is a view of the mountain that we (partially) climbed.
Here is Rebecca. At the beginning of the trail it was raining but as we gained elevation and the temperature dropped it began to snow and accumulation gained as we got closer to the summit.
Pretty Ruth.
