Now before you get too sympathetic for John, he actually was not hurt. He fell on his bottom (while walking) and he was fine however, several people rushed to him with concern in their eyes and asked very loudly "Are you OK, John?!". When John sees this (even though he is not hurt) he will start to cry anyways. So, he actually is fine in this picture (well, kind of).22 February 2010

L'amour!
And what is love without poetry? (My first in French, for Ruth of course)
Mon Rosier

Will the real John Huntley please stand up....
Here we are only 19 days from leaving France and when we arrived last May John could barely roll himself over and now he can stand by himself. Already he has taken a few steps (but those were performed two different times in the absence of his father). However, he does love to stand and play with his stackable cups (his toy of preference). It is an amazing thing to see your little baby begin to become more grown up. It made me think how normal physical growth is and how it seems to happen with very little input from the parents. But spiritual growth is different...human beings do not by themselves grow in the Lord, it is a work of the Spirit through prayer and the Word of God. We water but the Lord causes the growth. My prayer this morning was that John (and his little brother) will both stand and walk physically but more importantly that they would "stand and walk" with their Maker, King, and Savior...Jesus Christ.

Sarah is here!
Here is Ruth and Sarah in front of one of our favorite mountains, Mont Granier.
