November is Thanksgiving month, and one thing we have SO much reason to be thankful for is truly good friends here in France...friends we didn't even have a year ago (they're such good friends, that sometimes it's hard to believe how recently we've met them!) Here are a few pictures of just some of the special friends God's blessed us with here:
Below, a picture of us having dinner with our friends Paul and Jenny; originally from Australia, they came to Chambéry for a few months of French refresher course, and are now about to head back to Cameroon where they work:

Here's Rebecca with our friend Claudia, a really sweet friend who is also an amazing French tutor! (I [Ruth] am impressed with how much French Rebecca has picked up here without even studying or being in class: she can say stuff and she can understand a lot too!)
Here we are with another very special friend, Traci, who insisted on making cheese fondue for us so Becca could taste it before she left France: what a fun treat!
I just decided to pop this picture in at the end to show the beautiful autumn leaves here (this photo was taken on the little bridge out in front of our school)...

Nice pictures! I love seeing it all! I am also thankful for the wonderful people that have made France so welcoming for you while there.

I thank God for sisters who are both pretty and beautiful :)
ReplyDeleteAwww, I'm gonna miss everyone in Chambéry so much, it's not funny. I'm so sad to leave.
