church and a picnic

Sunday was a good day. We walked about ten minutes down the street to an evangelical church, Communauté Chrétienne Siloé. It was refreshing to be with other believers and even though we couldn't say or understand too much, we enjoyed the singing and the fellowship.

After church, the pastor and his wife invited us to join the church for a picnic by the lake. It was a beautiful, sunny afternoon. Here we are with Neil, Esther and Louisa, another missionary family also studying French at IFALPES:
