Happy Easter, everyone! Hope you had a wonderful day celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ--the reason for our hope! We did, with our church family here (even though, to my slight disappointment, they didn't sing my favorite Easter hymn, "He Arose!") We went over to Bob & JoAnn's in the afternoon, which was basically like being with family. And of course, we took the obligatory Easter pictures.
Since John has been such a happy traveler during recent weeks, I thought I'd include a shot of him smiling in his car seat...
And also a photo of the little trailer that will be "home" for a while (you can see a couple of our beautiful early Spring irises in the lower left hand corner).
Nice pictures! Well we sang "He Arose" at the afternoon baptism service. And it is my favorite also! In fact, I had commented on hoping to sing it! It truly is a beautiful Easter song.Especially the sorrowful beginning of each verse, and then from low to high the very triumphant ending "...up from the grave He arose!"
