Today, our friend Letizia taught Joanna and me (the Americans!) how to make crêpes. The experience was both fun & funny.
Fun = spending time together, learning how to make the yummy crêpes (and eating them!) and watching our three babies share and play happily together as we cooked.
Funny = how perfect and thin Letizia's crêpes were and how not-quite-so-perfect-and-thin Jo's and mine were (hers were, however, better than mine: below is a photo of one that I made, which can help you see how much I need to work on my crêpe-making skills).

And here we are getting ready to enjoy the finished product! Letizia's favorite way to eat crêpes is sprinkled with sugar and fresh lemon juice--very tasty:
