Seeing Dallas with Becca

Becca's here! We're hoping the baby is born this week while she is here. But we are just enjoying the time together in the meantime. Today, while Adam was busy over at school, Becca, John and I went downtown Dallas so Becca could see some of the sights for the first time. We started off by taking the train into downtown. John frequently wanted to try on our sunglasses ("daki!" as he calls them):

We saw the cattle--just one pictured here, but there are many of them that make up a cattle drive--a very cool set of sculptures!
We visited Thanksgiving Square, where many waterways and water fountains create a relaxing spot to stop for a little break downtown:

In the evening, we went to Joe Pool Lake, where Adam grilled:

What began as Becca and John going to feed the ducks...turned into Becca feeding the ducks and John!
