Verbs, verbs, verbs....

No one has ever accused the French of having too few suffixes in their verb system. Today we reviewed the verbs in French by drawing out a family tree as it were (Ruth's is pictured above). While this is by far not the most complex system in all the world's languages...it is a bit more complex than English (as far as suffixes go). But we are enjoying our language study and slowly all the forms (and even slower) all the irregular forms are making their way into our brains, and hopefully there to stay.
