Yesterday, Ruth returned from working on our latest newsletter.
As she came back into the house John quickly did some type of behavior that required Ruth to spank him. The following dialogue ensued.
"John, I don't want to spank you the first thing that I do as I come back to the house. How about I give you mercy? Mercy means that I don't give you what you deserve, that means I don't give you a spanking. Judgement means I give you what you deserve, that means I give you a spanking. So what do you want, mercy (no spanking) or judgement (spanking)."
John hesitates, looks slightly into the air, his forehead slightly wrinkled indicating some confusion. He then quickly threw off all confusion and hesitation and with all the gusto an (almost) two year old can muster cries out. "JUDGEMENT!"
(His mother gave him mercy anyways)
this is way too cute!!! love it! =)
