Of course they were sweating like crazy within moments of donning the full ensembles; I am sure it didn't help that they were wearing all that warm stuff on top of their clothes (long-sleeved jammies in Frieda's case!), and that it was probably 90+ degrees Fahrenheit in the sun. But they were cute anyways:

winter clothes in the tropics
Marie-Helene returned from a trip to Berberati, bearing with her the sweetest gifts from her daughter Princicia--crocheted outfits for Lois and Frieda! For each of them, there was a hat, a pair of socks, a onesie-type outfit and a sweater. Too adorable!

It is very strange to see them dressed up so much since the clothing has been so minimal in Africa! But they do plan to visit MN in about 8 months, so it's good to get ready!!
