winter clothes in the tropics

Marie-Helene returned from a trip to Berberati, bearing with her the sweetest gifts from her daughter Princicia--crocheted outfits for Lois and Frieda! For each of them, there was a hat, a pair of socks, a onesie-type outfit and a sweater. Too adorable!

Of course they were sweating like crazy within moments of donning the full ensembles; I am sure it didn't help that they were wearing all that warm stuff on top of their clothes (long-sleeved jammies in Frieda's case!), and that it was probably 90+ degrees Fahrenheit in the sun. But they were cute anyways:

  1. It is very strange to see them dressed up so much since the clothing has been so minimal in Africa! But they do plan to visit MN in about 8 months, so it's good to get ready!!

    1. Yes, Mom, I mentioned to Adam that Frieda's pretty yellow sweater will probably fit her just right by the time we head to a colder climate. :)
