one year in Cameroon

Wow, a whole year has gone by since we returned to the African continent. It's been a joy getting to know the bustling capital city of Cameroon, and some really amazing people who live here. I thought I'd just post some favorite photos that capture a little bit of what life has been like...starting with a shot of the rest of the family conked out in the Brussels airport on this day last year!

Tone analysis workshop with translation teams from CAR...

Here you can really go out in style...

A dear Cameroonian friend, one of the first to invite us into her home when we first arrived last year...

The kids have made so many special buddies here...

And we have made some good friends, too...

We never guessed we'd live in this country, and we don't know for how much longer we will live here, but I think we would all say that it has started to feel...like home.
