Tonight I was virtually flipping through some of the photos in my "My Photos" folder, and came across this particular image. I looked at it for a while, and couldn't help but smile. Yes, it's true; though this picture may not evoke good feelings on the part of most viewers, I look at it with (surprisingly) quite fond memories.
Maybe what makes some memories so great is just that they happened to us as a family! So, Molitors, and large blue minivan (a.k.a., "the Tougher"), here's to you! We've been through a lot together:
Am I correct in assuming that this picture corresponds to the icy Sunday morning that you all slid off the road and did a number on your neighbor's fence? We still think of that almost every time we go by that corner. :-) Having had a few "interesting" car situations like this ourselves, I would have to say that the amusement these memories generate are a direct evidence of the Lord's protection over both of our families.
ReplyDeleteSo nice to see you a few weeks ago!
Love, Annie
Yes, Annie, you're right--it was that corner! God has protected us from so many things so many times, hasn't He?!
ReplyDeleteIt was so nice to see you too; I can't believe how quickly that visit went by...oh, much too quickly!
oh wow. how many memories have been made with the big ol' van ;)
ReplyDeleteThat picture does bring back memories...wow. I love how the fence is demolished and the van looks like nothing happened to it :)
