Today, I took some photos as we walked home from church;
here are some of the sights we see as we walk along.

An interesting side of a building:
One of my favorite housese to walk by - the whole yard is a beautiful garden:
More flowers in full bloom:
I love all the old doors in Chambéry; I like how this one has one shiny handle and one handle that is dull because it's never used:
Adam makes the most of French-learning opportunities as he records unfamiliar French words in his notepad for later looking up in the dictionary:
More beautiful flowers:
All over Chambéry, the city has placed attractive flower-and-plant pots like these ones we see as we cross the river every day. Also, notice the bike path; Chambéry is very biker-conscience, and is full of biking paths:
The festive painting on the side of the "Bio" (i.e., Organic) grocery store near our apartment:
Back at home, Ruth relaxes with bowtie-wearing John.
Johnny is so cute. He looks incredibly grown-up compared to when I last saw him; I can't believe it...little teeth and all!!
ReplyDeleteI love the flowers - they're beautiful. The weather must be nice there. I miss you guys, and every time I see your pictures I get so excited about (Lord-willing!) coming. Love you all!
You guys look súperlindos, as they would say here. It´s fun to be able to read about what´s going on on the other side of the world. I also like the little map that shows where are of your blog followers are located--including places all over the world, and a little spot down in South America. :D
ReplyDeleteMy favorite picture of John! What a little man!
